PARTNER-LED ENGAGEMENTS

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Clear answers, no noise.

How does dual Brazil–Portugal qualification work?
GRPC partners are admitted to practise in both jurisdictions, which allows us to structure deals, mobility and contracts without intermediaries and without losing context between the two ecosystems.
How long does the Portuguese Golden Visa process take?
Following the 2023 regulatory reform, the most common route is now through qualifying investment funds. Under normal conditions, the process runs between 8 and 14 months, with variation depending on AIMA and the type of investment. Each case is assessed individually.
Does the firm support healthcare professionals relocating to Portugal?
Yes. The pathway covers visa, credential recognition before the Portuguese Medical Council, eventual revalidation, and post-relocation tax and wealth structuring.
What kinds of sports matters does GRPC handle?
International transfers, image-rights agreements, intermediation, FIFA/UEFA compliance and corporate restructuring of clubs and agencies, on the Brazil–Europe corridor.
Do you work with Seed-stage founders?
Yes, selectively. We engage with founders whose operations have a transnational thesis or European fundraising ambition, from incorporation through Series B+.
How is the engagement structured — who is my counterpart?
Every matter is led by a partner, who remains the single point of contact. The support team exists to accelerate, never to replace direct partner access.
What does the first meeting look like?
The first meeting is private, in person in Braga or by video, and runs up to 60 minutes. It is used to map context, identify the lead partner, and outline the mandate plan.
